The Chrysanthemum (Kiku) is not a fragile flower; it is the symbol of the Imperial Throne and enduring power. Like the verse "The whole city is clad in golden armor" (满城尽带黄金甲), the "Imperial Kiku" (御菊) Katana stands ready with a spirit that is both noble and unyielding.
Tachi-Style Mountings: This Katana features unique Tachi-style suspension mounts (Ashi) on the scabbard, allowing it to be worn edge-down in the traditional cavalry style or displayed distinctly. The fittings feature the classic Chrysanthemum motif, symbolizing longevity and nobility.
Clay Tempered T10 Performance: Forged from T10 High Carbon Steel, this blade is differentially hardened using the clay tempering process. This results in a hard edge for superior cutting ability and a softer spine for shock absorption. The real Hamon (Temper Line) is bright and active. The scabbard is crafted from aromatic Cypress Wood (柏木) with a durable lacquer finish. With its "Big-V" edge geometry, it offers high impact resistance and is fully capable of heavy Tameshigiri.
